Footloose cosmopolitans or citizens of nowhere?

When Theresa May said that those who call themselves ‘citizens of the world’ are in fact ‘citizens of nowhere’ she caused a great outcry. For some, it signalled a post-Brexit revival of nationalism. Filmed at the Battle of Ideas 2017, the speakers are Dolan Cummings, Angie Hobbs, Karl-Erik Norrman and David Goodhart. The chair is Jim Butcher.
