1:14:50

terror

The UK faced three major Islamist terror attacks in 2016 and Islamists have killed over 460 people in Europe over the past three years. Yet the response is often to shrug our shoulders, to hold vigils and join in the chorus of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger.’ London Mayor Sadiq Khan said the threat of Islamist terror is simply ‘part and parcel’ of life in a big city. Filmed at the Battle of Ideas 2017, the speakers are Dr Emma El-Badawy and Professor Frank Furedi. The chair is Claire Fox.
