This multi-award winning channel produces programmes made by volunteers trained by the charity WORLDwrite

The charity WORLDwrite and its citizen TV channel WORLDbytes rely on fundraising and donations to: uniquely provide free training to the volunteer-learners who create all its programmes; maintain film equipment and run its volunteer centre in Hackney, East London. Stretched by the number of people who want to have their say and to learn the skills to create broadcast quality programmes, the charity urgently needs your support.

We would like to say a special thank you to Bloomberg, Trust for London, and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation for their vital support which has allowed this project to go ahead. We are also most grateful to the Heritage Lottery Fund for their grant support for our major documentary and knowledge portal project on the life, works and impact of CLR James.

Special Thanks
