If you are interested in volunteering with WORLDbytes there are lots of opportunities and we'd like to invite you to our next volunteer open evening for details click here.
Free film training with WORLDbytes
Film training courses with WORLDbytes are completely full for the next two months but you can apply now for training over three intensive days during the Easter holiday period on Friday 9th Saturday 10th Sunday 11th April 2010. The training involves long days learning camera, lighting, sound, production and hands on shooting for a special series of programmes on the suffragettes – the women who fought for and won the right to vote for women. Priority places for this free training will be given to volunteers who are already active, so don't wait around-get stuck in and we look forward to seeing you at a volunteer introductory evening.
Important: To take up this opportunity you need to complete the online application form here.
To get active now as a WORLDbytes volunteer you need to attend a volunteer introductory evening at our centre in Hackney E5. Here we will take you through all the WORLDwrite programmes and projects and you can decide what is for you. You do need to book to attend the next volunteer introductory evening as space at our centre is limited. Please fill in the form below to book a place and we will send you back confirmation of your place and directions on how to find us.
The next volunteer introductory evening is on:
Thursday 1st April 2010 at 7:30pm
If you are not London based, don't be put off and do get in touch; we are developing a huge line up of virtual volunteering opportunities and need input from across the globe.
